Mike Mizanin (future WWE Champion, The Miz) would battle in a Dixie Dog Fight (a three round
boxing match)!
In tag team action, The Basham Brothers (Doug and Danny) tackle the tough team of
Hardcore Holly and Charlie Haas!
Jesús (Aaron Aguilera), bodyguard to Carlito Caribbean Cool had put WWE United States
Champion John Cena on the shelf, stabbing him in the kidney during a bar brawl. Upon Cena's
return to action, he promptly went after Carlito and the U.S. strap again, defeating him to
regain the title. The celebration was short-lived, however, as Cena had to be taken out on
a stretcher stemming from a post-match attack from Jesús. Now, Cena is hot for revenge
against Jesús, who now wants a chance at the U.S. title himself, challenging Cena for the
title in a Street Fight, with Cena's title on the line! Complicating matters for Cena is
Carlito Caribbean Cool's presence in Jesús' corner!
In Divas action, Dawn Marie battles Miss Jackie (Gayda)! The Special Guest Referee for
the bout? None other than Miss Jackie's boyfriend, Charlie Haas! No favouritism there,
right?
In handicap action, The Big Show fights against three very tough customers: Mark
Jindrak, Luther Reigns and Kurt Angle!
The WWE Cruiserweight Championship is also on the line as Champion Spike Dudley defends
against Funaki!
In the main event, WWE Champion John "Bradshaw" Layfield (JBL) must defend his title in
a Fatal Four-Way match against Eddie Guerrero, The Undertaker, and Booker T. Guerrero and
JBL have had a long and bloody feud throughout 2004 for the title. Booker T has won the WWE
InterContinental and United States Championship since arriving in WWE and would love to have
the WWE Championship in his trophy case. Undertaker is a former Champion and has been
pursuing JBL since summer, and has a few bones to pick with Booker, whom he has been feuding
with since spring.
