WCW conducted an online poll at WCW.com and asked fans to vote for their favorite matches
of all the WCW years, dating back to the NWA Crockett years. Then, WCW picked the top four
matches, and put them in their entirety, on this tape and added brand new commentary by Mike
Tenay and Scott Hudson. Here are the results!
From Starrcade '97, following over a year of silent anticipation, Sting finally confronts
the leader of the New World Order, (nWo) Hollywood Hulk Hogan for the WCW World Heavyweight
Championship! This match also featured the WCW pay-per-view debut of Bret "Hitman" Hart!
At Bash at the Beach '96, The Outsiders, Hall & Nash, battle WCW's team of Sting,
"The Total Package" Lex Luger and "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Although the
odds seem to be in WCW's favor on the surface, the Outsiders have already made the
announcement that a mystery partner, a "third man" is in the building waiting for
the right moment to reveal himself! The WCW locker room is buzzing with nervous excitement!
Who is this unkown "third man"? Could it be someone from the WCW locker room, or
another person entirely?
At Halloween Havoc '93, horrors are plentiful as it's
"Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal" with (Big Van) Vader and Cactus Jack (Mick Foley,
Dude Love, Mankind) as the wheel selects a Texas Death-style match where anything goes!
Perfect for the crazed madman from Truth or Consequences as he seeks revenge against the man
whose powerbomb on the concrete floor caused amnesia for many weeks! Cactus Jack doesn't care
who he hurts, including himself, but Vader feels no pain! Can either man survive this
match?

exchange that set the tone for the National Wrestling Alliance during the late 80's and early
90's. The opposing personalities and lifestyles of these two intense competitors are clearly
displayed, which just feeds into the rivalry these two great wrestlers had in a feud that
still burned fiercely in 1994 when they took on each other again! This match features the
original commentary from Jim Ross and Magnum T.A.!
